WELCOME TO THE

WEST IRONDEQUOIT TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION

 

We are a proud Association of nearly 500 dedicated professionals, all working for the best educational experience for our students. We are also members of the

 National Education Association(NEA), the

American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the

New York State United Teachers(NYSUT).

 

       Our goals for the 2011-2012 school year include:

o      negotiating another fair contract and APPR

o     effectively communicate with our members

o     increase our donations to Making Strides, Lee Denim Day, Scholarships, our PTSA and VOTE/COPE (#9 of 25)

 

Our office is located on the first floor of Irondequoit High School in Room 1051.  Our office hours begin at 12:15 on days that school is in session.
