Article XI: Section E on page 36 of our contract explains compensated positions. The District must follow certain rules when hiring people for non-administrative positions for which compensatory time or additional pay is given. Assuming the candidates have similar qualifications, the position must be filled in order of seniority in that position. If no person who previously held the position applies, the position must be filled in order of seniority in the district.
