WELCOME
New members of New York State United Teachers can sign up now to receive monthly e-mail survival tips. Gathered from New Member Coordinators, experienced union members and new members themselves, these helpful tips are e-mailed monthly to those new members who register. Hundreds of new members took advantage of this service last year.
Videoconferences Available
NYSUT Educational Services staff have resumed
the videoconferences on eacher certification from the Albert Shanker
Conference Center to regional offices. The sessions provide new members
with information on obtaining provisional and permanent certification,
as well as news on changes for teachers when the new regulations went
into effect in 2004. Additional information can also be found at the
