Our Mission

"The purpose of the Guilderland Teachers' Association shall be to promote the interests of education; to advance the standards of the teaching profession; to secure the conditions necessary to the greatest effectiveness of teachers and schools; to represent its members in district, area, county, state, national and other professional teacher organizations in which majority group interests are concerned; and to encourage interest on the part of pupils in preparing for the teaching profession."
