The GCTA began the school year without a contract and a crisis committee was put into effect to plan actions. A single year contract was approved in October 1971.
Department Chair positions were eliminated and replaced with Teachers-in-Charge.
GCTA dues would include a $2.00 contribution to the scholarship fund.
