The GCTA sponsors the Adopt-A-Highway Program with a two-mile stretch of Route 490 behind the GC High School. Members of the GCTA volunteer to clean up the roadside stretch of highway twice a year, in the spring and again in the fall. |

The GCTA makes an annual contribution to each building for the benefit of students or community members within that building. Contributions in the past have included: Paul Road's Pancake Supper the Middle School's Senior Citizen Spaghetti Supper donations to the playground funds of Brasser and Disney the purchase of yearbooks for less advantaged students in the Middle School. |

The GCTA made a $100 contribution to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk GC Faculty participated in the walk for American Cancer Society's "Making Strides for Breast Cancer" GC Faculty in the Middle School organized a bus for student volunteers to participate in the walk for American Cancer Society's "Making Strides for Breast Cancer" The GCTA makes annual contributions to Special Olympics and Channel WXXI Auction GCTA supports the Monroe County Federation of Teachers' annual "Book Faire" by contributing books for disribution to underprivileged children. |
