Welcome to the
Byram Hills Teachers Association
Web Page!

Welcome to the website of the Byram Hills Teachers Association. We are a union of over 260 certified educational professionals dedicated to serving all children attending public schools in the Byram Hills Central School District in Westchester County, New York. Our membership includes teachers, guidance counselors, and psychologists. Our union is part of the over 550,000 member New York State United Teachers (NYSUT). We are also a part of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).
Our members are dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students. We take pride in the work that we do with our students and members of the community within the Byram Hills School District. Our members work to ensure that each child is afforded all possibilities whether it is academic, social and or extracurricular.

We work in a community that appreciates and respects our work with children. In an environment of mutual respect, we believe that all things are possible. Through close dialogue and collaboration with District leaders, we maintain high standards for our students and ourselves.

Our intention in creating this page is to provide a place where members can go to obtain practical information relating to Union contacts, contact information, professional responsibilities, benefits and course approval. We have included various forms in PDF format including insurance claim forms (see benefits page) and course approval and movement of salary scale forms (see course approval page).

Please feel free to look through this website, it is maintained by our Vice President of Communication, Bob DiMartino.
