The Bayport-Blue Point Teachers Association is the recognized representative of the professional staff, of the Bayport-Blue Point Union Free School District. Our role is to act as a liason between the staff and the Board of Education, administration and community. We exist to encourage professional advancement and recognition for educators, and to cultivate and strenghten the bond of fellowship and understanding among our members.

The BBPTA promotes the advancement of equal education opportunity and the improvement of instruction for all.  It is also our goal to seek the development of a clearer relationship between the schools and the community. We strive to be involved in our community, working closely with various community groups such as the Food Pantry, S.E.A.B.B.S., Little League and
the South Shore Community Center.
